The BOS Invoicing System

The BOS Invoicing System is a collection of separate but related subsystems related to different functions relating to invoicing

Subsystem Description Benefit Status
DataConnections Receive invoices between external sources (EG: Nookal, Cliniko, Xero, Stripe etc) and keep records in sync and consistent between connections. Invoice can be generated in any system and BOS will report on all of them. Fully Operational (for supported DataConnections)

Invoice Shipping Invoices in The BOS are sent ("shipped") to other external sources Invoices generated in Nookal can be sent to Xero, with specific rules to make reconciling easy Fully operational for Xero. 
Mostly operational for Nookal (stable but some features not available). Not available for Cliniko.
Invoice Rendering

Generate PDF of any invoice, optionally grouped up in ZIP files where needed. 

Includes Xero payment link (if configured)

Can customise how invoice looks. Mainly used for sending invoices and reminders to clients/payers. Fully operational. Open any invoice in The BOS and use 'Download' button at bottom of sidebar. 
Semi-Automatic Appointment Billing Generate invoices ("bill off") any attendances and immediately send invoice to your PMS. Bulk create invoices to save time, ensure none get missed. Will eventually be automated with rules Beta testing with multiple tenants. Not publicly available yet. Not all features completed yet
Emailing Invoices Send invoices (zipped/pdf) in bulk or individually to clients/payers. Customised presentation to suit third party payers. Save time not manually 'collecting' invoices, and have different delivery types (zipped, CSV) for different payers. In development, not available for beta testing yet. 
Unpaid Invoice Reminders  Automatically send reminders to payers/clients based on schedules you define.  Automatic chasing up of debt with no human effort required. In development, not available for beta testing yet.
